A relaxed walk through the spectacular nature of Barranco Blanco, where clear running water, small waterfalls and natural pools create a unique outdoor experience just a short drive from the finca.
The route is a circular walk of around 5 kilometres and is easily accessible for most walkers. You follow the riverbed past rocks, lush greenery and several natural swimming spots where you can cool off on warm days.
Barranco Blanco lies between Coín and Alhaurín el Grande, in the direction of Coín / Alhaurín de la Torre. Thanks to its crystal-clear water, rock formations and hidden pools, it is one of the most popular hikes in the region.

This moderate hike is ideal if you are looking for a relaxed but still active outing. The paths are easy to follow and offer enough variety to keep things interesting, without extremely steep sections or technical passages.

Along the way, rocky sections and mountain paths alternate, with ever wider views over the valley and the surrounding mountain ranges. It is a physical hike, perfect for walkers who enjoy a proper workout and don’t mind a good ascent.
At the top of Pico Mijas you are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views: across the Costa del Sol, the surrounding mountains and, on clear days, even the Mediterranean Sea. A real highlight hike for experienced mountain lovers.
